Prof Dan RujescuProf Dan Rujescu

Dan Rujescu is Full Professor of Psychiatry, Genomics and Neurobiology, Head of the Division of Molecular and Clinical Neurobiology at the University of Munich, and director of the Genetics Research Centre. He is involved extensively in national and international genome and post-genome efforts to understand the genetics and pathophysiology of suicidal behaviour and psychosis.

Prof Marian LeboyerProf Marian Leboyer

Marion Leboyer, M.D., Ph.D., is currently appointed as Professor of Psychiatry at the faculty of the University of Paris East in France.  She is head of the University-affiliated department of Psychiatry (Groupe Hospitalier Mondor, Assistance-Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris).  She also runs a Psychiatry Genetic laboratory belonging to INSERM (Paris).

Prof Driss MoussaouiProf Driss Moussaoui

Driss Moussaoui is Professor and Chairman, Department of Psychiatry, Ibn Rushd University Psychiatric Centre, Casablanca, Morocco, and Director of a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre in Mental Health. He is President-Elect of the World Association for Social Psychiatry (WASP) and a member of the French Academy of Medicine. He trained at Rabat University and Sainte-Anne Hospital in Paris. His special interests include transcultural psychiatry.

Dr Mary PhillipsDr Mary Phillips

Dr. Mary Phillips trained in Medicine at the University of Cambridge, UK and in Psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital, London and Institute of Psychiatry, UK. She received a research training fellowship from the Medical Research Council (UK) to examine visual scan paths in schizophrenia. She subsequently developed a research interest in the application of functional neuroimaging techniques to the examination of the neural basis of emotion processing in healthy and psychiatric populations.

Prof Guy GoodwinProf Guy Goodwin

Guy Goodwin trained in medicine and completed a DPhil in neurophysiology at Oxford.  After qualifying in psychiatry, he was the Clinical Scientist and Consultant Psychiatrist in the MRC Brain Metabolism Unit in Edinburgh for 10 years.  He returned to Oxford as Professor and Head of the University Department of Psychiatry in 1996.

Prof Anita Riecher-RosslerProf Anita Riecher-Rossler

Anita Riecher-Rössler, M.D., has a full chair for Psychiatry at the University of Basel and is Head of the University Psychiatric Center for Gender Research and Early Detection at the Psychiatric University Clinics in Basel, Switzerland. She is specialised in psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, as well as in consultation and liaison psychiatry and in gerontopsychiatry. In 1998, she was the first woman to be appointed to a full chair for psychiatry in a German speaking country.

Prof Nick CraddockProf Nick Craddock

Nick Craddock is Professor of Psychiatry and Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at the Institute of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences, School of Medicine, Cardiff University, Wales, UK.

Nick studied sciences at Cambridge, medicine in Birmingham and psychiatry and genetics in Birmingham, Cardiff and St Louis. He specializes in, and leads research into, diagnosis and management of mood and psychotic illness.

Dr Anthony Grace

Dr. Anthony A. Grace is a Distinguished Professor of Neuroscience and a Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA.  He received his Ph.D. from Yale University School of Medicine with Dr. Benjamin S. Bunney and had postdoctoral training with Dr. Rodolfo Llinas in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at New York University School of Medicine.  Dr. Grace has been involved in translational research related to the dopamine system for over 30 years

Prof Jan Scott

Jan Scott is Professor of Psychological Medicine at Newcastle University, UK, and a Visiting Professor at the Universite de Paris est, Creteil (UPEC) where she is working on a project about the early identification and treatment of young people at risk of mood disorders with Professor Marion Leboyer and colleagues involved with the bipolar disorders expert centres network.

Prof Craig Morgan

Craig Morgan is Senior Lecturer and Head of Section of Social Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London and Associate Member of the Social Psychiatry Research Group, University of Oxford. He has completed higher degrees at the Universities of Oxford and London and his research focuses on the impact of social and cultural factors on the onset, course and outcome of mental disorders.
